Our Unique Co-Bolt Advantage
Volgren builds vehicles using a unique aluminium system that makes our buses stronger, lighter and more energy efficient than traditional steel buses - as well as cheaper to repair. One of the secrets to our outstanding success story is the use of the Co-Bolt aluminium extrusion body technique, in which our buses are built using a system of bolted gusseted joints.
Worldwide, more than 25,000 buses have been built using this aluminium bus body technology, which is continually assessed and improved across the globe. Volgren uses this state-of-the-art technology for bus manufacture, ensuring each vehicle saves fuel and reduces carbon emissions.
