CR228 Low Floor Route Bus (14.5 metre)

Our second low floor route bus is the 14.5-metre single or double-door bus. This bus has a Co-Bolt aluminum bus body making it stronger, lighter and more energy efficient than a traditional steel bus. The 14.5-metre bus can seat up to 57 passengers and 35 standees depending on the layout.

Volgren Press Release -13/12/2011

Late yesterday Grenda entered into an agreement to sell a majority stake in Volgren Australia Pty Ltd to Marcopolo S.A. Marcopolo is a listed company on the Brazilian stock exchange; it was founded in 1949 and is still controlled by the original founding family. Marcopolo is one of the world’s largest bus manufacturers’ producing around 30,000 buses per annum in 11 plants worldwide.
